Are you looking for opportunities to grow your relationship with your significant other and with God?

We have different events and classes coming up for people who are dating and for those who are married.

We'd love for you to join us for some fun with other Christian couples. 

  • "Extreme" tour of Marygrove College

    Saturday, June 3, 9 am - 2 pm

    Meet at 9 am and carpool to northwest Detroit. Mark Bartnik, Marygrove Alumni and FLC member is hosting a free tour of historic Marygrove College. Marygrove is an independent, Catholic, liberal arts college located in Detroit. Often called Detroit’s most elegant place to learn, Marygrove is located on 53 beautifully wooded acres in northwest Detroit. We will learn about the history of the college, the architecture and many more facts that make this a Detroit historical gem. Visit www.marygrove.edu for more info.


    After the walking tour, we will have lunch at Lou’s Deli - an old fashion style deli which has been serving deli delights to the Detroit area for over 50 years. Visit www.lousdeli.net  Cost: No charge for tour. Lunch $10 - $15 per person.

  • belle isle by bicycle

    Sunday, July 23, 1-4 pm for leisurely ride or 12-5 pm for the serious riders

    Bring your own bicycles and join us for a leisurely ride around Belle Isle, the country's largest city island park (about 900 acres). Riders will meet at the fountain and then cycle around the island (about 5 miles). You can ride with the group or explore on your own. Things to do/see on the island: Dossin Great Lakes Museum, Nature Zoo, Aquarium and Conservatory. Meet at the James Scott Memorial Fountain at 1 pm,   tour the island, and leave at 4 pm. 


    For the more serious riders, start at Eastern Market and ride through a little bit of downtown, the riverfront, Belle Isle, Indian Village, Elmwood Cemetery, the Dequindre Cut, and Eastern Market. The ride starts and ends at Eastern Market (about 23 miles). Meet at Eastern Market at 12:pm, ride to Belle Isle, tour Belle Isle, and return to Eastern Market at 5 pm. . 


    When you sign up choose Option 1: Belle Isle only or Option 2: Eastern Market and Belle Isle. Option 1 will require you to meet at Belle Isle State Park so you will need the Recreation Passport ($11 for Michigan vehicles).   • Gilmore Car Museum

    Saturday, August 19, 8-5 pm.

    Join us for a day at the Gilmore Car Museum, in Hickory Corners, MI. We will carpool from FLC leaving at 8 am. Arrive at Gilmore Museum about 10:30 am, tour the museum as a group or at your own pace. Meet 11:30 am for lunch at the Blue Moon Diner. Then, continue to explore the museum and leave for FLC at 2:30 pm arriving at around 5 pm. Cost: $12 per person admission (pay at the door when we arrive) and lunch $10-$15 per person.


    Tour North America’s largest auto museum with over 189,000 square feet of exhibit space. The Museum’s 90-acre Historic Campus features numerous vintage structures including a restored and fully-functioning 1941 Silk City Diner, a recreated 1930s Shell Station, six onsite Partner Museums, plus collections of motorcycles and pedal cars. Stroll the campus, eat lunch in the authentic Blue Moon Diner, and walk right up to an amazing collection of over 400 vintage automobiles and motorcycles. gilmorecarmuseum.org.
