Are you looking for opportunities to grow your relationship with your significant other and with God?

We have different events and classes coming up for people who are dating and for those who are married.

We'd love for you to join us for some fun with other Christian couples. 

  • Gilmore Car Museum

    Saturday, August  26, 8-5 pm.

    Join us for a day at the Gilmore Car Museum, in Hickory Corners, MI. We will carpool from FLC leaving at 8 am. Arrive at Gilmore Museum about 10:30 am, tour the museum as a group or at your own pace. Meet 11:30 am for lunch at the Blue Moon Diner. Then, continue to explore the museum and leave for FLC at 2:30 pm arriving at around 5 pm. Cost: $12 per person admission (pay at the door when we arrive) and lunch $10-$15 per person.


    Tour North America’s largest auto museum with over 189,000 square feet of exhibit space. The Museum’s 90-acre Historic Campus features numerous vintage structures including a restored and fully-functioning 1941 Silk City Diner, a recreated 1930s Shell Station, six onsite Partner Museums, plus collections of motorcycles and pedal cars. Stroll the campus, eat lunch in the authentic Blue Moon Diner, and walk right up to an amazing collection of over 400 vintage automobiles and motorcycles. gilmorecarmuseum.org.

  • The Battle Plan for Prayer Bible Study Saturday Nights at FLC

    7:30—9:30 pm, September 23-November 18

    Are you ready to take your prayer life to the next level – individually and as a couple? Inspired by the feature film “War Room” and through this Bible study by Stephen Kendrick and Alex Kendrick, couples will become more devoted to prayer. Faithfully and effectively wield the weapon of prayer in the battles and seasons of life. You are encouraged to watch the movie “War Room” prior to the first class. Dinner will be provided each night while watching the DVD series and discussing the material. Cost is $10 per couple for dinner, plus workbooks are available for purchase in the church bookstore.   • Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill

    Saturday, September 23, 9 am—2 pm

    Enjoy a festive fall day at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill in Armada. We’ll carpool from Faith leaving at 9 am. As a group, we will take a hayride out to the Giant Pumpkin Patch. Then as a group or at your own pace, couples may watch fresh apple cider being pressed, watch fudge being made, walk through the Haunted Village, and enjoy many other activities. We’ll meet at 12:30 pm for lunch at the Orchard Café. We’ll return to FLC around 2 pm. Cost: Hayride $5 per person. Lunch $10-$15 per person.

  • Cranbrook House Tour

    Sunday, October 15, 12:30—4 pm

    Tour Cranbrook House, an absolute Arts & Crafts-style masterpiece, designed by renowned Detroit architect, Albert Kahn. The 1908 English tutor estate was built during a golden era of craftsmanship, view handcrafted furniture, tapestries, tiles, stained and leaded glass, and other works of art. At 12:30 pm, we will meet at Cranbrook House (located one mile west of Woodward Avenue at 380 Lone Pine Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI). The house tour is from 1– 2:15 pm. You may purchase tickets in advance by calling Cranbrook at 248-645-3149 or purchase tickets at the front door of Cranbrook House the day of the tour. After the tour, we’ll go to an area restaurant for dessert. Cost: Admission $15 (Seniors 60+ $10), dessert $5-$10 per person. Register Here by Monday, October 9.


  • Wild Lights at the Detroit Zoo

    Sunday, November 19, 6:15—8:30 pm

    The Detroit Zoo will light up the night with Wild Lights, a spectacular light display of more than five million LED lights illuminating trees, buildings, and more than 200 animal sculptures throughout the front half of the Zoo. Couples would be advised to buy advanced tickets (for the 6:30 pm slot) since some time slots sell out. Purchase tickets on-line at www.detroitzoo.org/visit/. Meet in front of the gates at 6:15 pm and, as a group, we will stroll through the zoo enjoying the light display. Dinner and snacks at The Arctic Café (in the zoo). Tickets $11 (in advance on-line), $14 (at the gate), parking $6 per car, dinner $10-$15 per person. Register Here by Monday, November 13.

  • History of the Christmas Tree Walk

    Sunday, December 10, 4:30—10 pm


    Visit a privately owned 9,500 sq. ft. log home in Marine City with 200 Christmas trees each decorated with a different theme or a different period in history.

    Then, enjoy dinner at Foxfire Fixins’s Fun Food, delicious food at a unique, eclectic restaurant also owned by the couple who owns the log home. Purchase tickets in advance by calling Thumb Print News at 810-794-2300. Cost: $12 (prior to Dec. 1), $15 (after Dec.1 or at the door), dinner $10-$15 per person. We will car pool from Faith leaving at 4:30 pm. We will tour the three-story log cabin, and dinner reservations are at 7:30 pm.
