Are you interested in serving as a volunteer? Let us know here.

What does the day look like for my kids?

When you arrive, we’ll have volunteers outside to help you find your way to check-in at our lobby (our lobby is by the main carport once you come in the entrance drive). We’ll get kids checked in and they’ll head over to their large group space for an opening time together. After large group time, the rest of the day will be designed around kids being in an age-specific small group and with the same small group leaders each day. They’ll have an opportunity to learn the story, play fun games, have snacks, and talk all about life following Jesus.

Is there an option for my child with special needs?

If your child has special needs, just let us know. We want to work with you to figure out whatever you think is best to help give them an amazing VBS experience.

What do we do to keep kids safe?

When it comes to what we do with kids, it’s important to us that we create a safe place. Because of this, all of our volunteers have a background check, are trained, and follow specific policies regarding the safety of our children. Safety is also the reason that we have a specific process for checking in your kids, as well as using the name tag you received at check-in to pick up your child. If you need someone else to pick up your kids, we’ll have you write down their name when you drop off your kids in the morning; we will require the designated person to show ID at pick up time.

    What ages can participate?

We start VBS for kids beginning at age 3; our policy is that kids should be fully potty-trained in order to participate. We do understand that accidents might happen, so we simply ask that preschoolers bring an extra set of clothes in case of an accident. We also allow students entering 6th grade in the fall of 2018 to also participate in VBS; they will be a part of specific preteen activities and small groups. For any students entering the 7th grade or higher, we would love to have them participate as a volunteer.

Is there any help with finances?

We don’t ever want money to be a reason somebody cannot participate in what we offer for kids.

If you are in need of a scholarship, please contact us for more information.
