Ever get tongue tied when it comes to expressing your Christian Faith? Wish you could be “ready to give an answer to every man who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you”? (I Peter 3:15) Each of us has a close friend or family member who needs answers to the critical questions of life. You don’t have to be afraid. Let’s equip ourselves to give them the answers. Each lesson will be independent (but related). Teacher: Debbie Johnson. Registration opens May 3rd.

Keep It Shut: Mondays: July 24, 31, Aug 7, 14, 21, 28, 6:30-8 pm
In this 6 week DVD Bible Study by Karen Ehman, we will explore how to control the tongue with practical, biblically-based advice for those times you struggle with what to say. Each session features a different character from the Bible, using them either as an example of someone to emulate or whose verbal actions we should avoid replicating. Unsolicited opinion-slinging, speaking the truth in love, not saying words just to people-please, and dealing with our verbal anger are sub-topics that will also be addressed. Study guide available in the church bookstore.
Leader: Casey Williamson.
