When Jesus said to "go and make disciples of all nations," we take that literally and want to respond to that calling.  Because of that we work in our local community, national and international missions.

  • Haiti Mission

    February 2017

  • Brazil Mission

    March - April 2017

    Support the local pastor and teachers in their mission serving the neediest families in favelas (slums) of Port Alegre. Serve by teaching VBS, sport activities, delivering food and clothing.   • Dominican Republic College age Mission

    May 7 - 13, 2017

  • Mexico High school mission

    june 24 - July 1, 2017

  • Stephen Ministry

    Are you going through a difficult time? Stephen Ministers are members of our church who receive special training to provide one-to-one Christian care to people in our church and community. Stephen Ministers listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people who are facing a crisis or going through tough times. The care you receive is confidential, free, and very helpful.

  • MEals for needy families

    Family of God Is a church store front that brings hope to Detroit by providing meals  and spiritual support to people in need.   • Prayer partner for at risk kids

  • FLC Food Pantry

    Donations of non-perishable food donations & paper goods can be dropped off anytime in the bin near the gym & vending machines. We help local families, friends, & church members with temporary food assistance. Tuesdays 5 - 6:30pm.

  • Gifts for all gods children workshops
