“Jesus himself GAVE the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and the teachers, to equip His people for WORKS of SERVICE, so that the BODY of CHRIST may be built up until we reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fulness of Christ.”

v.2 “They were greatly DISTURBED because the apostles were teaching the people and proclaiming in JESUS and the RESURrECTION of the DEAD.”
v.7 “They had Peter and John brought before them and began to question them: By what POWER or NAME did you do this?”
v.18 “Then they called them back in again and commanded them NOT to speak or teach at all in the name of JESUS.”
v.19 “But Peter and John replied, Judge for yourselves whether is it right in God’s sight to OBEY YOU, RATHER than GOD.”
v.20 “As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we BELIEVE.”

Evangelist: To be an ENTHUSIASTIC ADVOCATE
v10 “Then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of JESUS CHRIST of NAZARETH, whom you CRUCIFIED, but whom GOD RASIED from the DEAD that this man stands before you, HEALED..”
v.12 “Salvation IS found in NO ONE ELSE, for there is no other NAME under heaven GIVEN to humanity by which we must be SAVED.”
The message of salvation is NOT an INTUITIVE message.
In order for God’s Kingdom to GROW on earth, the name of JESUS must be SPOKEN.
GOOD people don’t go to heaven, FORGIVEN people go to heaven.
