October 31, 2022
Have you ever thought about what it means to follow Jesus with your money?
Below you'll find some practical tools that we've created to help you with your financial planning along with the sermons from this series.
When it comes to following Jesus:
Our goal is simply to be with Jesus, live like Jesus, and do the things that Jesus did.
Jesus once said, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”
Which means the way we use our money will show us who or what we are following. So who are you following?
One of the first things to do when you’re lost financially is to start seeing where your money is going.
This is a great way to follow up on the words Jesus said:
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Once you’ve found out where you are with your spending, a great next step is to begin to allocate where your money is going.
We’ve got a simple document for you to use to do this or if you’d prefer something more automated, we’ve also got a spreadsheet that can do some of the math for you.
If you subtract all of your financial liabilities from your financial assets, you’ll get a great picture of your financial overview.
To help you calculate this we’ve created a simple .pdf and a more detailed excel spreadsheet that can help you in your financial planning.
The best way to become more generous in your life is to make a plan to be generous.
Spontaneous generosity is great, but the most generous people always plan to be generous ahead of time.
We’ve created a tool for you to use if you want to begin to practice generosity.
