we are starting a short series that will bring us to the celebration of Christmas. While many of us have a certain picture in our mind about the key parts of the Christmas story, we might not always realize how messy and imperfect the story is.

In the midst of all that, Mary can often be misrepresented.
Perhaps she's seen tidy and clean and all put together.
Maybe even more she's perfect and sinless.
The truth is a different story.
Mary is like you.

And in the midst of the first Christmas story, Mary is the first one to believe in Jesus.
